    n a typical project, the designer hands off to a contractor, who hands off to sub-trades. Every handoff is a place where details get lost, scope gets padded, and timelines slip. The drawings say one thing, the site does another, and the homeowner is left chasing project managers for answers.

  • What “scan to build” actually means

    In Singapore, we’ve relied tradespeople and short supply, very few design studios can sustainably keep their own build crew on payroll. Like every reputable firm in the industry, we work with a curated network of trade partners, but how we work with them is what makes the difference.

    Our build partners aren’t sourced through tender. They’re tradespeople we’ve worked with for years, pre-vetted, repeat-tested, and trained on the IPORT SOP. Before they touch your project, they’re briefed on our standards for sequencing, finishing, quality checks, and sign-off. They build from the same approved 3D model you walked through, not from drawings that get reinterpreted three times along the way.

    For you, “one team” means one number to call, one party accountable, one project lead who owns the entire build. Sub-trades report to us. We report to you. You never coordinate contractors yourself, and you never get the “that’s not my scope” answer when something needs sorting.

    The home you walk into on handover day is the exact one you approved in 3D.

    Is your build team in-house?

    No, and that’s deliberate. Singapore’s skilled-labour market makes in-house build crews neither sustainable nor better for the homeowner. Instead, we work with a curated network of trade partners we’ve collaborated with for years. They’re trained on our SOP, accountable to our project lead, and held to the same quality bar on every job. From your side, you only ever deal with IPORT, we handle everyone on site.

    What if I want to change something mid-build?

    You can, but every change is priced and approved in writing before work proceeds. No silent variations.

    Are there hidden costs?

    No. The price at sign-off is the price.

    What if something breaks after handover?

    We fix it within the warranty period, no questions.

    Can I visit the site?

    Always. Schedule with your project lead, we encourage it.
